As the Country Manager Spain & Portugal, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the company’s commercial objectives, growth, and market presence within Spain & Portugal. The role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a strategic business plan to achieve the company’s objectives in the livestock industry, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability
  • Team Management: Lead and inspire according to the company’s style a diverse team of professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve operational excellence
  • Market Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify new opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly
  • Sales and Marketing: Oversee the sales and marketing efforts to promote our livestock services and products, expand our customer base, and achieve revenue targets
  • Financial Management: Manage the financial aspects of the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, to ensure sustainable profitability
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors, to enhance the company’s reputation and market presence
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports to the corporate office on the country’s performance, market insights, and strategic recommendations
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, agriculture (Livestock), or a related field 
  • Proven experience in sales leadership in a senior management role within the livestock industry
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of livestock production practices
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting sales targets
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Besides Spanish, fluent in at least English language (written and spoken)
  • High grade of the Spanish livestock market will be appreciated
