Are you the right person to help us become market leader in the Spanish livestock industry?

As an Online Marketer, you will work together with Alba on the growth of our Spanish webshop. You will be challenged to attract more and more (potential) customers to the webshop through creative actions and the use of online marketing channels. Is your job done then? No, certainly not. You also want them to have a good experience and come back after that first order. To do this, you analyse the data, collect feedback and you think of ways to reactivate customers with the online channel and message that makes the most impact according to you. To come up with ideas for relevant actions, you get help from the central ecommerce team and ecommerce colleagues from other countries. They all have similar roles, so you’re not on your own. You will also work together with the Spanish country manager in order to reach the overall revenue goals.

What will your job look like as an Online Marketer?

  • You set up campaigns using e-mail marketing, web banners, SEA, social media or other channels. This is specified per target group.
  • You create content pages which are easy to find via Google (SEO).
  • You work with Category Management to get approval for the products you want to highlight and you coordinate the graphic design with our designers.
  • You look for opportunities to increase MS Schippers’ brand awareness in Italy through press releases, promotions or local collaborations.
  • You improve the Italian webshop by analysing visitor behaviour, improving the search function and the product texts.
  • You look for interesting keywords to expand our SEA campaigns and generate more traffic to your webshop. You then set up these ads yourself in Google Ads. For all your questions, you can ask help from our SEA expert Susan.
  • Together with our e-mail specialist Bram, you lift e-mail marketing to a higher level in Italy and you come up with new ideas for automating e-mail flows in Selligent (e-mail programme).
  • Each month, you analyse the results of all actions and campaigns of last month and discuss them with the e-commerce manager and the Italian country manager in the monthly evaluation meeting.

what do we ask of an Online Marketer?

  • You are creative, show initiative and think in terms of possibilities.
  • You learn quickly, are flexible and you switch easily between different tasks without losing the overview.
  • You have at least 1 year of experience in online marketing, particularly in Google Ads, Google Analytics, E-mail marketing & SEO.
  • You are very structured and accurate.
  • You are a native speaker in Spanish and you can speak and write English on a professional working level.
  • You’re enthusiastic about travelling and would like to visit the head office in The Netherlands 3 to 4 times a year.
